on the HD version, but if I go back to the PS2 version, then all hell breaks loose. The stonework within the castle is almost a testament to a long forgotten artistic form of masonry, with textures that are varied, realistic, and really add to the believability of the environments. Or is Devil May Cry 1 easier on the HD Collection than the original PS2 edition Question Like I breezed thru Nelo Angelo, Griffon, Phantom, etc. The environments are beautifully rendered and impeccably detailed the castle itself is vaguely reminiscent of the artistic detail of the Resident Evil environments (particularly the police station from RE2), with a severe gothic and organic twist. His huge sword (a gift from his father) and dual handguns have become a bit of a legend within certain circles. Dante is one cavalier dude during the course of normal life, but becomes an unstoppable devil slayer when the need arises. ![]() Players will assume the role of Dante, a freelance mercenary in modern America with more than a few secrets.
